In 2018, All In was considered “The Biggest Independent Wrestling Show Ever,” featuring several of the biggest names in pro wrestling outside WWE. It changed the pro wrestling world as we know it, leading to the formation of All Elite Wrestling.
Now, in 2023, the event is back and looking to become “The Biggest Event in Wrestling History” on August 27. All In, now under the AEW name, emanates from Wembley Stadium in London, England. It will air on BR Live in the U.S.
Without announcing a single match when tickets went on sale, 36,000 were sold during the pre-sale, while 60,000 got bought by May. As of August 6, over 70,000 tickets have already been sold. The event looks to break the record for the largest attendance for a pro wrestling event ever, with WrestleMania 32 in 2016 holding the record of 80,709 fans.
The main event for All In will be MJF vs. Adam Cole for the AEW World Title. The champion, MJF fought Adam Cole to a draw in June in an eliminator match. Continuing their rivalry, they got paired together in a Blind Eliminator Tournament. Instead of bickering, they formed a great friendship, working out, partying, and teaming together.
