
Men’s college basketball teams all around the country are now turning their attention to conference tournaments in hopes of securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
The American Athletic Conference (AAC) will hold its men’s basketball tournament starting Wednesday. All 13 teams from the conference will head to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, in hopes of being named the AAC tournament champion.
Slotted as the top seed is No. 16 Memphis, which finished the regular season at 26-5 overall and 16-2 in the conference. The Tigers also enter the tournament on a five-game win streak. Memphis will face the winner of No. 9 USF vs. No. 8 Wichita State on Monday.
UNT, UAB and Tulane round out the rest of the top 4 seeds.
