The Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky game took a spicy turn in the third quarter after Angel Reese pushed-off against Natasha Howard, Caitlin Clarck clocked the move, and then Clark tried to grab the ball from over Reese’s head. The foul was upgraded to a flagrant and prompted a strong reaction from Reese, who tried to get in Clark’s face as the Fever star walked back to the bench.
The entire league owes Aliyah Boston a huge debt of gratitude for preventing this sucker punch. The consequences would have be catastrophic for everyone. pic.twitter.com/xWtu7vr16i

As if that wasn’t dramatic enough, a photo making the rounds on X appears to show Reese reaching her left arm in the arm, hand balled into a fist, as Clark walks away — and Clark’s teammate Aliyah Boston holds Reese back.
The flagrant call did little to rattle Clark, who hit her first triple-double (20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) of the season, her third in her WNBA career. Boston also had a double-double for the Fever, and Reese clocked her own double-double for the Sky.

The Fever soundly shut down the Sky 93-58, but that won’t be what fans keep talking about in the coming weeks… at least, not by the looks of it.
