For Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson, this is not just any vehicle. The sophomore slinger from Wichita was gifted none other than a lavender Corvette in late July thanks to a partnership with Salina, Kan., car dealership Long McArthur Luxury.
“When one of our athlete partners requested a custom, one of a kind Lavender Corvette, we made it happen!” Long McArthur Luxury wrote in a social media post. “Avery Johnson will be riding around in style this football season!”

Upon announcing the deal, photos were released on social media of Johnson and his brand-new wheels riding around the parking lot of Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

How much is Avery Johnson’s car worth?
The most recent model of Chevrolet’s Corvette is listed starting at $70,000. That price tag increases depending on the car’s trim and other alterations, meaning the final cost could be closer to $90,000.
Notably, this does not factor in the cost of getting the vehicle wrapped in lavender like Johnson’s.
