Thursday night football action continues this week as the Bengals (5-4) head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens (7-3).

Cincinnati comes in off a 30-27 home loss to the Texans, while the Ravens also fell in a close one in their own house, falling 33-31 to Cleveland. This brought a four-game winning streak to an abrupt and somewhat unexpected halt for both squads. 

The Ravens lead the all-time series with the Bengals by a small margin at 29-27. A win here would keep Baltimore on top of the AFC North division and would allow them to sweep Cincinnati in a season for the first time since 2020. 

Offensively, it’s easy to argue the Ravens have been more explosive than the Bengals, though the deep passing game has been an area of concern for quarterback Lamar Jackson as of late.

After getting off to an up-and-down start, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has hit his stride and is expected to be the healthiest and best version of himself the Ravens have ever faced. To this point in the season, Burrow has completed 67% of his passes for 2,208 yards with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions.

10:10 p.m. – Joe Burrow stands on the sideline with no helmet as Jake Browning continues to assume the quarterback position for the Bengals. Burrow left during the second quarter with a wrist injury.

9:53 p.m. – In the final seconds of the first half, Lamar Jackson finds Rashod Bateman for the touchdown. It’s his first touchdown reception of the season.

9:29 p.m. – Ravens wide receiver Nelson Agholor breaks free for a 37-yard touchdown run to allow the Ravens to retake the lead.

9:29 p.m. – Joe Burrow is questionable to return with a right wrist injury. Jake Browning will replace him.

9:22 p.m. – Joe Burrow heads to the locker room with an apparent shoulder injury.

9:20 p.m. – Zay Flowers’ would-be 68-yard touchdown run is called back due to a questionable holding call.

9:15 p.m. – Running back Joe Mixon’s strong showing continues as Joe Burrow finds him on the outside for the Bengals’ first touchdown of the night.

9:01 p.m. – Lamar Jackson appears back in the huddle, a good sign for the Ravens after Jackson initially looked like he could have had an injury serious enough to sideline him for the game.

9 p.m. – Evan McPherson’s 53-yard field goal is no good, marking the first missed field goal by a Ravens opponent during the 2023 season.

8:54 p.m. – Joe Burrow is sacked for the second time of the night by Ravens defender Tavius Robinson.

8:51 p.m. – Ravens’ drive ends in a punt. Lamar Jackson heads to the injury tent after taking a big hit from Bengals defender Logan Wilson.

8:49 p.m. – Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has been ruled out of the game with a left ankle injury.

8:44 p.m. – The ensuing drive by the Bengals also ends in a sack, this time on Joe Burrow by Jadeveon Clowney.

8:39 p.m. – Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are stopped on 3rd & 14 with a sack by Bengals defender Trey Hendrickson.

8:33 p.m. – The Bengals settle for a 50-yard field goal to cut the Ravens’ lead to 7-3 midway through the first quarter.

8:31 p.m. – Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is questionable to return with an ankle injury.
