Two of the AFC’s brightest sides meet in the brisk Buffalo wind for a duel that should go a long way in shaping the race for the AFC East title.
The Bills have long been considered the class of their division. Their roster is filled with talent, namely in the form of Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Matt Milano and Micah Hyde. They have found themselves on the cusp of greatness for years, a few rough edges away from etching their name in football immortality.
But their reign at the top is under threat. For there’s a side making waves down in South Beach, one whose offense strikes fear in all it faces. The Dolphins are fresh off the back of a 70-point mauling of the Broncos. With Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Raheem Mostert, Jaylen Waddle and Devon Achane at the helm, they can score on just about anyone. And in a league where scoring can be at a premium, that puts them in rarefied air.
It’s a classic matchup, the stout rearguard hoping to hold off the upstart attack. And it promises to have folks talking, one way or another. A game fit for primetime television, even if it is in the middle of the day.

Bills 14, Dolphins 7
1:32 p.m.: Speak of the devil! Murray carves through the fog of teal-clad bodies coalescing in the trenches. Big gain sets up Buffalo right on the cusp of the goal-line.
1:29 p.m.: Allen is using the short game to his advantage. He’s involving the likes of Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid to carve through this Miami defense. Couple that with an improved supporting cast (hello, James Cook and Latavius Murray!) and you have an offense capable of competing with the best of rearguards.
1:20 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! The Dolphins respond with a flurry, finding pay dirt courtesy of yet another Devon Achane scamper. Some big plays from the likes of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in Drive No. 1. Tagovailoa completed all five of his pass attempts to start. This game is shaping up to be a scorcher.

An awesome moment to watch Bills safety Damar Hamlin huddle with his teammates before taking the field for his first regular-season game. Hamlin was a healthy scratch the first three games โ but will have a key role on special teams today. pic.twitter.com/PyfOiouJ0Z
