Glenn Mutti-Driscoll, now being dubbed as “Phillies Anti Karen,” finally got to meet Cal Raleigh after catching the Seattle Mariners‘ catcher’s historic 60th home run ball at T-Mobile Park. The eighth-inning blast from Raleigh reached the right-field stands, where Mutti-Driscoll found himself in possession of the historic ball.
He did the complete opposite of what infamous “Phillies Karen” did at LoanDepot Park. In a warm act of generosity, Mutti-Driscoll handed the ball over to a young fan nearby, a gesture that quickly went viral on social media.
In response to the internet-winning gesture, the Mariners organization invited Mutti-Driscoll and his family to a pregame meet-and-greet with Raleigh before Thursday’s game.

Cal Raleigh and the Mariners staff came up with a warm meet-and-greet session, where “The Big Dumper” presented Glenn Mutti-Driscoll with a signed bat and two baseballs for his children, Ethan and Aiden. The family posted photos with Raleigh as well.
“First time meeting a superstar,” Mutti-Driscoll said.
Earlier, during an interview on Thursday, Mutti-Driscoll described the chain of events following Raleigh’s 60th home run, which led to him giving up the ball to the young kid.
“The ball was ricocheting around; it went off a few people’s hands and I grabbed it,” Mutti-Driscoll said Thursday afternoon. “I was standing with it for 15 or 20 seconds and there was a kid in front of me and just …”
“The whole thing was surreal. It just was happening so fast,” he added. “And standing there with it and I guess looking down at the kid, and he deserves it more than me.”
Cal Raleigh’s gesture and Harrison Bader’s from earlier this month go to show that generous acts don’t go unattended.
