One of the biggest stars in boxing is set to enter the ring for the first time this year.
Canelo Alvarez (54-1-2, 36 KOs) will put his WBA, WBC and The Ring super middleweight titles on the line against Avni Yildirim (21-2, 12 KOs) on Saturday. It’s a quick turnaround for Alvarez, who defeated Callum Smith less than three months ago. Yildirim, meanwhile, last fought in February 2019 when he lost to Anthony Dirrell via technical split decision.
Will Canelo continue his run of dominance as expected? Or can Yildirim pull off a major upset?
Here’s everything you need to know about watching Canelo vs. Yildirim.
