Celtic are back in the UEFA Champions League group stages in 2022/23 with holders Real Madrid heading to Glasgow on matchday one.

Ange Postecoglou’s side join domestic rivals Rangers in the group stages but they face a major battle to get out of Group F in the coming weeks.

Celtic will be hoping their home form can inspire a place in the last 16 but facing Madrid could be a reality check for The Bhoys.

Carlo Ancelotti won a Spanish and European double on his return to Madrid last summer and Los Blancos are amongst the favourites to go on and defend their title this season.
