College Basketball Crown bracket: Full schedule, TV channels, live streams, scores for 2025 tournament

By | March 31, 2025

March Madness is expanding, but it’s not in the traditional way some proposed. The NCAA Tournament isn’t getting more teams. Instead, there’s a new tournament called the College Basketball Crown.

The Crown is a smaller tournament, featuring just 16 squads. In its inaugural year, there are mostly teams from the Big East, Big Ten and Big 12. There are also at-large teams included.

This new tournament is in addition to the NIT, which is typically seen as the secondary tournament in college hoops, and the CBI. Teams can deny an invitation, and some teams won’t make it altogether, but this tournament expands how many schools get to participate in postseason basketball.

Perhaps the most notable team in this tournament is Boise State, which holds a 24-10 record. The Mountain West team was one of the first four teams to miss the NCAA Tournament.

The Sporting News has all the details on how to watch the College Basketball Crown 2025 tournament.
