Mexico vs. Ecuador
El Tri enters this match needing a win after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Venezuela in their last game left them on the brink of going home. They must win to keep their hopes alive of advancing to the quarterfinals, but Ecuador too will advance with victory, or even if they secure a draw. Knowing that they can sit deep and defend for a point, don’t be surprised if Ecuador try to frustrate.

Jamaica vs. Venezuela
There is little of substance for either side to play for here other than pride, and for Venezuela the slim threat of a harder knockout path if they fail to top the group. That seems hugely unlikely. Jamaica are already out, with Venezuela’s spot in the quarterfinals secured with a game to spare. They could rest key players ahead of their knockout tilt, but will still be expected to get the job done here.

Copa America 2024 odds, futures to win tournament
Understandably, FIFA’s top-ranked side Argentina — defending Copa America champions and fresh off a World Cup crown — were the strong favorites to win this year’s competition as the tournament got under way.
Brazil were right there as second-favorites, but that’s largely on brand recognition as they enter the competition in significant turmoil and without injured talisman Neymar. The in-form South American sides are Uruguay and Colombia, while hosts USA and fellow CONCACAF giants Mexico are amongst the second tier of title contenders but still have to prove their worth.
