ICC has already released the full schedule of the ICC men’s ODI World Cup 2023 which will be held in India.
The full fixture list was released on June 27 in the presence of ICC CEO Geoff Allardyce and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.
The curtain raiser will witness a rematch of the 2019 World Cup final as reigning champions England take on New Zealand in Hyderabad. India will play their opening match of the World Cup against Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8.

The Men in Blues will face their arch-rivals Pakistan in the league stage on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The two semi-finals will be held at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata and the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai whereas, the final will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

What is the format of the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup?
A total of 10 teams will participate in the World Cup. Each team plays the other nine in a round-robin format with the top four qualifying for the semi-finals.
What time will the matches start in India?
All matches will either start at 10:30 am in the morning or at 2:00 pm in the afternoon. India will play all their matches under lights which means their games will start at 2:00 pm.

Who will win Cricket World Cup 2023? Predictions and betting odds
This Cricket World Cup should be a hotly contested tournament.
The hosts, India, look like the favourites to lift the trophy, with the home crowd potentially playing an important role.
Under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, India will hope to bring the World Cup home again after 12 years, and lift their third overall title.
Defending champions England are strongly fancied also, and will want to keep the ODI World Cup trophy they won four years ago. With the return of Ben Stokes, their team looks ready to fight.
New Zealand, who England beat in the final in dramatic circumstances four years ago (a Super Over ended in a tie, with the hosts winning on boundary countback) are many people’s outside bet to finally end their trophy wait. They hold the record for the most semi-final appearances in World Cups and are likely to be strong — although the fitness of recently injured captain Kane Williamson will be pivotal for them.
Australia is on a hot winning streak right now. Under the able captaincy of Pat Cummins, they have managed to win the World Test Championship in 2023 and also retain The Ashes. It won’t be a surprise if they win the ODI World Cup to add to that haul.
Sri Lanka, while having to qualify through the playoff stage, could be a surprise package. The odds on them to win have shortened in recent weeks, thanks to their run to the final of the recent Asia Cup.
A huge rivalry clash between India and Pakistan on October 14 will be one of the highlights of the tournament, and it could also go a long way to deciding the fate of Shaheen Afridi and Co. Pakistan have won the tournament before, but will need to be at their very best to do so again.
It may also be a stretch too far for South Africa, who will do well to make the semi-finals given the competitive nature of the field.
Bangladesh and Afghanistan have made improvements in recent years, and are capable of an upset performance on their day, although winning the tournament outright is surely not possible.
As for Netherlands, a win of any description in the ODI Cricket World Cup would likely warrant a job well done in the tournament. Don’t forget though that they qualified ahead of World Cup powerhouses West Indies via the play-off stage.
Them winning the whole thing, though, would most certainly rank as one of the greatest sporting shocks of all time!
