Dan Campbell and the Lions are letting their ‘Swiftie’ hang loose this week as Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour finally makes its arrival in the Motor City.
The NFL team took the fun to TikTok to do what it does best: relate to its fans.
A short video showed the guys on the roster receiving Swift-themed kandi — small, trade-able, beaded bracelets.

Another two-minute video showed them naming their favorite Swift songs from over the “eras.”

Some, like quarterbacks Jared Goff and Nate Sudfeld, admitted to having more than one favorite. The veteran starter listed his top three: “Getaway Car,” “The 1” and “All Too Well (10 minute version).”
Meanwhile, Sudfeld went deeper into the archives, naming “Long Live” and “Never Grow Up” — which made him emotional when he went away to college, he shared.
“I have little sisters, so I’m a fan,” Sudfeld said with a big smile.
Lineman Penei Sewell couldn’t think of the name of his song, but was able to sing the lyrics until someone threw an assist his way. (Hint: he was talking about “You Belong With Me”.)
And others, like Kerby Joseph, sang, “I put my hands up, they playin’ my song, the butterflies get to flyin’ away.” Which is a Miley Cyrus song…
He redeemed himself when he came back with his new (and actual Swift song) answer “22.”

Fans in the comments were pleased with the team’s knowledgeable and shockingly prepared answers, one comment reading: “thank god we have the best o-line in the league because jared goff needs to be protected at all costs.”
The team replied with a play on words: “Speak(ing facts right) Now.”
The first time Swift played at Ford Field was on Thanksgiving in 2006, where she sang the national anthem.
At that time, Campbell was a Lions tight end, and even scored a touchdown that afternoon. A picture posted by Ford Field’s Twitter showed Campbell standing behind the then 16-year-old pop star on the field that day.

Campbell shared in a media briefing that he and his wife are going to be in attendance this weekend.
“There’s a good chance I’m there,” he said, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “… We got some people coming and my wife invited some friends and we got some people from the staff, so it’ll be good. It’ll be a good time.”
Several players also reportedly are planning to go — though names were not dropped. If you’re going to the concert, whether Friday or Saturday, keep a sharp eye out for any Lions hiding in the weeds.
