
The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to start their World Series title defense when they take on the Cincinnati Reds in the National League wild-card series. The series will feature three games, all at Dodger Stadium, as the Dodgers won the NL West, and the Reds clinched the last wild card spot on Sunday.
Los Angeles is rolling out southpaw Blake Snell for the first game on Tuesday, while the Reds are starting Hunter Greene. Two ace-caliber starters with the ability to strike out batters in bunches.
The Dodgers showcase more star power in this matchup, but the Reds fought their way to this point, backed by a great manager in Terry Francona and excellent starting pitching. It’s sure to be an exciting matchup.

9:17 P.M. EST- Shohei Ohtani crushes a leadoff home run to kick off the scoring. 1-0 Dodgers.
9:29 P.M. EST.- Blake Snell is through two scoreless innings with two strikeouts, one on Elly De La Cruz.
9:46 P.M. EST.- Blake Snell gives up a two-out double, but responds with a strikeout to end the inning. 1-0 Dodgers, headed to B3.
9:55 P.M. EST.– Teoscar Hernández crushes a three-run home run in the bottom of the third. Freddie Freeman and Max Muncy both score. 4-0 Dodgers. Link to Teo’s home run here:
9:57 P.M. EST. –5-0 Los Angeles after Tommy Edman joins the party with a solo home run.
10:34 P.M. EST. –Teoscar does it again! This time, a solo opposite-field shot to put the Dodgers up 6-0. Link to Homer here.
10:42 P.M. EST.– Blake Snell is cruising in his first Dodgers playoff start. Six scoreless innings with nine strikeouts and just one hit allowed.
10:48 P.M. EST- Shohei Ohtani joins the multi-home run party with a two-run shot for his second of the night. 454 feet. All Dodgers here in game one. 8-0.

11:07 P.M EST.- The Reds score two in the top of the seventh. Elly De AL Cruz beat out a fielder’s choice, and Tyler Stephenson hit a double to bring De La Cruz in. Snell is through seven, as we head to the stretch.
11:18 P.M. EST- 10-2 Dodgers. Rojas comes in to score on an errant throw into the dugout, and Ben Rordvedt delivers with an RBI single to score Alex Call.
11:40 P.M. EST. – Reds’ Sal Stewart walks with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth. Spencer Steer also records an RBI single as it’s now 10-4 Dodgers, with a pitching change on the way.
