The Kansas City Chiefs have made a living of beating the Las Vegas Raiders.
Since Patrick Mahomes took over as the team’s starter in 2018, he has gone 10-2 against the Raiders, including an undefeated road record in Oakland/Las Vegas.
And while Andy Reid and co. consistently put the Raiders in their place, Reid welcomed a former colleague and friend to practice – one who used to be the head coach of the Raiders.
Jon Gruden was spotted at Chiefs’ practice decked out in Chiefs gear.

The Super Bowl winning head coach resigned as head coach of the Raiders in 2021 after emails surfaced of him using racist and homophobic language.
Gruden used a gay slur to describe NFL commissioner Roger Goodell during his time as an ESPN analyst, and a racial slur to describe NFL Union Chief DeMaurice Smith.
Reid and Gruden were on the same staff in Green Bay with the Packers in the early-mid 1990s.
