Michael Pittman, Mike Evans, Tee Higgins, and Julio Jones were likely all penciled into fantasy lineups entering Week 2, but with all four WRs listed as “questionable” ahead of Sunday’s games, knowing the latest injury updates will be crucial before locking in those start ’em, sit ’em decisions. (UPDATE: Pittman has already been ruled “out.”)
Below, we’ll give you the latest news on these WRs and break down how their injuries could potentially affect the Week 2 fantasy landscape. We’ll be updating this article throughout the day on Sunday, so check back for the latest news!

WEEK 2 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em
Is Michael Pittman playing Week 2?
UPDATE: Pittman was ruled “OUT” on Saturday afternoon.
Pittman (quad) carries an official “questionable” designation heading into the Colts’ Week 2 road tilt against Jacksonville. After logging a limited participation in Wednesday’s practice, Pittman didn’t participate in practice on Thursday and Friday, complicating his Week 2 status.
The third-year USC product cashed in for fantasy owners in Week 1, hauling in nine passes for 121 receiving yards and a TD on 13 targets. While the Colts were forced into a more pass-heavy approach when trailing by multiple scores in the second half, Pittman clearly separated himself as Matt Ryan’s go-to option in the passing game. If Pittman does suit up, SN Fantasy has him ranked as the No. 11 WR in both standard and PPR scoring. If Pittman doesn’t play, fellow Indianapolis WRs Parris Campbell and Ashton Dulin figure to see an increased workload along with RBs Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. However, it’s tough to know who to trust among the WRs, leaving all virtually unplayable in all but the deepest leagues.

Is Mike Evans playing Week 2?
UPDATE: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Evans is expected to play against the Saints.
UPDATE 2: Evans is officially ACTIVE.
Evans (calf) is listed as “questionable” entering Tampa Bay’s Week 2 matchup in New Orleans. Evans is trending in the right direction, as he was able to log a limited session in Friday’s practice after failing to participate on Thursday.
Tampa Bay is in need of their No. 1 wide receiver to be on the field in Week 2, as fellow WR Chris Godwin has already been ruled out with a hamstring injury and WR Julio Jones is “questionable” with a knee injury. Tampa Bay’s offense didn’t put up the points to reflect it, but considering their offensive line dealt with a good deal of turnover, the unit as a whole didn’t really skip a beat in Week 1. Evans remains a must-start once he’s officially announced as active. If he’s out, Jones would be the No. 1. If both are out, look for Russell Gage (hamstring) and Breshad Perriman (knee), who are both also “questionable,” to step up and have some flex appeal.
WEEK 2 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/ST | Kicker
Is Tee Higgins playing Week 2?
UPDATE: NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that Higgins is expected to play against Dallas.
UPDATE 2: Higgins is officially ACTIVE.
Higgins (concussion) also carries a “questionable” tag heading into the Bengals’ Week 2 road matchup against the Cowboys. Higgins exited the Bengals’ Week 1 loss to Pittsburgh in the second quarter following a hit to the head/neck area, but he returned to practice this week, most recently logging a full participation in Friday’s practice.
Higgins looks to be in line to suit up on Sunday afternoon, which is good news for a Cincinnati team in need of a bounce-back victory. Higgins remains a must-start in all formats, as SN has him ranked as the No. 14 WR in standard scoring and No. 21 WR in PPR scoring.

Is Julio Jones playing Week 2?
UPDATE: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Jones will be a game-time decision after testing his knee in warm-ups.
UPDATE 2: Jones is officially OUT.
Jones (knee) was a limited participant in Friday’s practice but is officially listed as “questionable” entering Tampa Bay’s Week 2 matchup in New Orleans. The 12-year vet didn’t practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but his return to practice on Friday is good news for his Week 2 prospects.
WEEK 2 DFS: Best values | Best stacks
Jones is already a trusted option of Tom Brady, seeing five targets while hauling in three receptions for 69 yards in Tampa Bay’s 19-3 win over Dallas last Sunday night. While Jones carries a lengthy injury history, given his usage in Week 1, it made sense to see him once again pop up on the injury report. Jones looks to be in line to suit up on Sunday and is worth starting in both standard and PPR scoring formats with fellow WR Chris Godwin (hamstring) already announced as out.
