Final injury report for Chicago Bulls-Denver Nuggets, will Nikola Jokic play?

By | March 24, 2025

The Denver Nuggets are at home on Monday night to take on the Chicago Bulls as they look to pick up another victory.

Monday’s contest will be the second night of a back-to-back for the Nuggets as they defeated the Houston Rockets on Sunday 116-111 despite being without their star center Nikola Jokic.

Denver will have another tough matchup on Monday as they take on the red-hot Bulls who have won two consecutive games and seven of their last 10 contests.

Unfortunately for Denver, Monday’s matchup will be an even tougher one as they have once again ruled out Jokic due to an ankle injury.

Jokic has missed Denver’s last four games due to an ankle and elbow injury and he has once again been ruled out for Monday night’s game which will be his fifth consecutive missed contest.

This is a massive blow for the Nuggets but the good news is that head coach Michael Malone said that Jokic will return during Denver’s upcoming five-game home stand as the Nuggets look to continue to climb the Western Conference standings.

With Jokic out on Monday, the Nuggets may turn to veteran center DeAndre Jordan to start in his place once again after he recorded 11 points and 15 rebounds in Sunday’s victory.

The Nuggets will also need Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. to step up and lead the way with Jokic sidelined and Russell Westbrook should also play a key role off the bench.

Despite this, the Nuggets have listed Gordon as questionable due to hamstring injury management and Jamal Murray and Christian Braun are listed as probable.

On the other side, the Bulls have ruled out Lonzo Ball, Ayo Dosunmu and Tre Jones for Monday’s game.

Dosunmu is out for the rest of the season due to shoulder surgery while Ball continues to recover from a wrist injury. Jones is set to miss at least two weeks due to a left foot sprain.

Fans can catch Monday’s game between the Bulls and Nuggets at 9:00 p.m. EST.
