After impressing at Practice 3 on Saturday morning, Verstappen took home pole and sits at the front of the grid entering Sunday’s Austrian Grand Prix, his fourth pole of the 2021 season.

Pole position for the Red Bull racer — and current leader in the driver’s championship — is exceptionally important now. Entering the middle of the season, Verstappen leads Lewis Hamilton in the driver’s championship, with the Merc racer entering Sunday’s sprint in fourth grid position.
Last Lap Lando was Fast Lap Lando on Saturday, with Norris finishing second in qualifying, his best-ever finish in Formula 1. Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez enters the second race at Red Bull Ring in the third grid spot.

Formula 1 starting lineup for 2021 Austrian Grand Prix
A disappointing run at the Red Bull Ring continues for Ferrari, which couldn’t make it into Q3 on Saturday. Still, they have good race pace, so expect both Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to pick up some places on Sunday.
Vettel finished qualifying in eighth, but expect him to drop down the grid for blocking Fernando Alonso at the end of Q2

Formula 1 schedule 2021
Formula 1 returns in 2021 with a zaftig 23-race schedule, starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 28, and concluding with the customary Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Dec. 12.
The Canadian GP was canned as the country continues to wrangle with coronavirus issues, and F1 added the Styrian GP in its stead. The French GP moves up a week to June 20.
The race originally scheduled for Oct. 3 in Singapore was also axed, with the Turkish GP rejoining the schedule for the same date. That race takes place at Istanbul City Circuit.
The Portuguese Grand Prix returns for its second-consecutive running after a 22-year absence. Also making its debut this year is the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix taking place on the Jeddah Street Circuit, scheduled for December.
