When Ball released “Tweaker” in early January, it immediately took off. The song could often be heard in sports locker rooms and across social media, with many comparing it to the hip-hop sound from the early 2000s.

As of February, the official “Tweaker” music video has nearly 5 million views on YouTube and over 47 million plays on Spotify. Under his stage name, GELO, Ball also received an invite to perform at Rolling Loud California 2025, and he recently signed a record deal with Def Jam.

In an interview with Billboard on Thursday, Ball confirmed a “Tweaker” remix is on the way, and it will include Lil Wayne, who he called a “legend.”

“That’s like hooping with Jordan, man,” Ball said. “That verse, it’s tough.”
