What is Bronny James’ injury?
James’ injury is a left heel contusion, according to the NBA’s official injury report.
It is unclear when James suffered the injury, but he was placed on the report after playing 26 minutes in a loss to the Stockton Kings on Sunday, Nov. 17.

How long will Bronny James be out?
The Lakers have not provided a timeline for James’ injury.
James missed the Los Angeles Lakers’ visit to the Spurs on Wednesday, Nov. 27, marking his fifth consecutive game on the inactive list. Friday’s NBA Cup meeting with the Thunder was James’ sixth. He has not played since the G League action on Nov. 17.
James was also recalled by the Lakers on Friday, but officially missed another game in the team’s 101-93 loss to the Thunder.
It’s unclear when James will return, including his status for Los Angeles’ road matchup against the Jazz on Sunday, Dec. 1. He’s reportedly only going to play in South Bay Lakers home games but will travel with the Los Angeles Lakers when the team is on the road, complicating a possible return from injury.
