Is Victor Wembanyama playing tonight? Spurs vs. Trail Blazers time, TV channel, stream for Summer League game

By | July 9, 2023

Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson faced off in a couple of highly anticipated exhibition games in October. Unfortunately, the two prospects won’t meet again on Sunday night.

The No. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Wembanyama’s second game at the Las Vegas Summer League comes against the Trail Blazers, who selected Henderson with the No. 3 pick in this year’s draft.

Henderson left his Summer League debut with a shoulder injury, and the Trail Blazers ruled him out for the matchup with Wembanyama and the Spurs. He will be listed as day-to-day going forward.

Will Wembanyama be available for Sunday’s game? Here’s the latest on his status.

The Spurs have not yet released an official update on Wembanyama’s status, but he didn’t suffer an injury in the team’s Summer League opener. He would only sit out if San Antonio decides to shut him down for the rest of the offseason.
