The National Football League is set to host the NFL Draft on Thursday night but Jacksonville Jaguars executive Tony Khan had some more pressing business at Daily’s Place with All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite.
The show has been airing on both TNT and TBS for the last five years and has grown to be one of the biggest ratings movers on cable Wednesday nights. The company is named after the faction The Elite, who took it upon themselves to attack Khan to end Dynamite.

The storyline is rather simple. Jack Perry was suspended indefinitely with his involvement in the fight with C.M. Punk at All In at Wembley Stadium. Perry returned at the Dynasty pay per view this past Sunday and helped The Young Bucks win the tag team titles in a ladder match.
To end the show, Perry told Khan in the ring that he just wants what’s best for AEW and asked to be reinstated. Khan agreed and Perry then turned on him.
At this point, The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada confronted Perry including teasing the EVP Trigger. They didn’t go through with it before hitting the Meltzer Driver on Khan. The show ended with Jaguars owner Shad Khan looking concerned standing over his son.
This is one fascinating angle to happen right before the draft. If Khan loves wrestling as much as he says he does, hopefully he is wearing a neckbrace in the Jaguars war room.
