A new challenge awaits Jake Paul as the YouTuber-turned-boxer faces Andre August in Orlando.
Paul looks to go 1-1 this year against pro boxers. Earlier in the year, “The Problem Child” lost against Tommy Fury, his first test against a professional.
He has looked to regain momentum after the loss, first by beating Nate Diaz. If he can beat August, he expects to get ranked in boxing. That opens the door to the ultimate goal of being a world champion.
“I have to be in the gym 24/7 to reach my goal of being the best in the world. I’m on this tunnel vision war path to get there, and I’m excited to show people that. It’s like 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Trying. I’m going to become a world champion or die trying,” Paul said on The MMA Hour.
August is on a five-fight win streak. Returning to action this past summer after not competing for four years, August is ready for his fists to do the talking. The Texas-born fighter is ready to prove everyone who doubts him wrong, including oddsmakers.

Crews-Dezurn turned pro in 2016 and lost to Claressa Shields in her debut. In 2022, she edged Cederroos to become the undisputed super middleweight champion but lost her status as champion in her last fight in July against Savannah Marshall.
