The 2024 NFL regular season is almost here and the Chiefs will once again kick things off as defending Super Bowl championship.
Kansas City hosts the Ravens on Sept. 5 for some Thursday night football action. It’s a rematch of the AFC championship game from this past January and will certainly get the 2024 season going with some fireworks.
But the Chiefs play 16 other games in 2024. While the full schedule won’t officially be released until May 15
, there have been rumblings about who and when KC will play this year.

Week 1: Chiefs vs. Ravens
What a way to kick off the 2024 NFL season. The Chiefs host the Ravens in Week 1 on Sept. 5. The game will be aired on NBC at 8:20 p.m. ET.
The last time these two teams faced off, Patrick Mahomes and company got the better of Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in a 17-10 defensive battle. Mahomes completed 30 of 39 passes for 241 yards and one touchdown, while Travis Kelce caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a score. The win was Mahomes’ fourth against Jackson and sent KC to its second consecutive Super Bowl and third in Mahomes’ career.

Week 2: Chiefs vs. Bengals
Another AFC championship rematch, albeit a few years past. This is a matchup that always brings some heat, though.
The Chiefs host again, this time against the Bengals. The game will be played on Sept. 15 at 4:25 p.m. on CBS.
