Jason and Travis Kelce have already taken their sibling rivalry to the Super Bowl. Since then, they’ve taken it back to the kitchen table with Mom.
The brothers have appeared in a pair of commercials for Campbell’s Chunky soup, ads that have certainly been making the rounds across a variety of networks since the start of the 2023 football season.
Travis Kelce, in particular, has taken center stage in commercials that, at times, seem to fill entire two-minute breaks during games. He’s appeared in ads for Pfizer, State Farm, DirecTV, Experian and Lowe’s.
The brothers have also grown in popularity off the field and away from TV cameras as well. Their podcast, “New Heights,” has exploded in popularity since the two played in the Super Bowl against one another. And of course, Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift has brought his popularity into a whole new realm.

But their commercial series together has not only been a popular ad series, but also a fun experience for the brothers to share. Here’s what you need to know about the two ads.
Inside Chunky Soup sibling rivalry ad
There are two ad variants of the commercial. The first features the siblings in an arm-wrestling competition, with banter between the two: Travis calling Jason “eyebrow man” and Jason calling Travis “pretty boy.” Travis, calling himself a “pretty man” winds up picking up the win against Jason as their mother, Donna Kelce, sits with a book club and apologizes for the disturbance.
The second features Travis’ phone going off with a ring tone saying “Champion, Travis Kelce is a champion” while he’s sitting next to his brother. Jason, unhappy about the ringtone that brings up his brother’s Super Bowl win over the Eagles, is rewarded with a bowl of Campbell’s Chunky from Donna, who tells the Philadelphia center that “it’s your year, big guy.”
The love of Campbell’s Chunky soup is not just for show. Donna Kelce told People that Chunky is “a staple in the pantry,” and both brothers spoke of their love of the product.
“We ate so much Campbell’s Chunky soup growing up, so it just felt like the perfect fit,” Jason Kelce told People.

Each has their favorites. Travis prefers chicken noodle soup — and recently the spicy chicken noodle. Jason likes beef and barley, and Donna likes the seafood chowder.
Talking with GQ, Jason Kelce recalled how growing up, the Campbell’s commercial with former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb and his mom was among the most memorable ads for him.
“I remember all those commercials,” Jason Kelce said. “They were so well done. And like we said before, we ate a lot of Chunky soup growing up, so it was a huge part of our childhood.”
Travis told People that it was a fun experience for the trio, and said fans “get to see us, the Kelce family, on full display.” He told GQ watching the McNabb commercials growing up and now getting to appear in them has made it all feel “full circle.”
“The coolest part for us is being able to bring mom in,” Travis Kelce said. “Doing something fun with her — everyone remembers McNabb and his mother, and I just thought that was always so cool. Like, he got to a place in his life where he could then showcase his mother, how much he loved her, and the dynamic that they had.”
As for perks with the commercials, the Kelce family was not sure as of May 2023 when speaking with GQ whether they get free soup out of the deal with the ads.
“That is a great question,” Jason Kelce said when asked whether they get free soups. “We have not asked that. We need to get to the bottom of this.”
