Lakers vs. Warriors final score, results: Lonnie Walker IV’s late heroics save LA in Game 4 win

By | May 9, 2023

In an intense playoff contest featuring future Hall of Famers like LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Anthony Davis, it was a 24-year-old reserve guard who made the difference.

Lonnie Walker IV came off the bench and scored all 15 of his points in the fourth quarter, pushing the Lakers to a 104-101 victory over the Warriors in Monday night’s Game 4. He nearly outscored Golden State (17 points) by himself in the final frame.

“For him to be as young as he is, for him to have that professionalism, come out, stay ready when his number is called, we don’t win this game without Lonnie Walker tonight,” Lakers star LeBron James told TNT’s Chris Haynes.

James had 27 points, nine rebounds and six assists, and Anthony Davis contributed 23 points, 15 rebounds, three steals and two assists in the win. Stephen Curry posted a triple-double (31 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds) in the losing effort.
