Masters 2021 live scores, updates, highlights from Sunday’s Round 4 leaderboard

There will be no wire-to-wire winner at the 2021 Masters Tournament.

Justin Rose claimed the outright lead after an incredible opening-round 7-under-par 65 at Augusta National Golf Club, and then managed to cling to it with an even-par Round 2. He had no such luck in Round 3, where another even-par round allowed Hideki Matsuyama to overtake the entire field and three other golfers to join Rose in second place.

Matsuyama carded the first bogey-free round of the tournament on Saturday, part of a day in which he made five birdies — four on the back nine — and an eagle as part of a 7-under 65. The turning point was a 77-minute weather delay beginning at 3:57 p.m. ET, due to storm systems making their way through Augusta, Ga. No other golfer took greater advantage of the post-rain playing conditions than Matsuyama.

The Japanese golfer is not only in prime position for his best finish at the Masters (he finished fifth in 2015), but also his first major win. It would also be his first PGA Tour win since the 2017 World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational in August 2017. Can he continue his incredible level of play for one more round? Or will another golfer come out of nowhere to snatch victory at Augusta?

What channel is the Masters on today?

CBS will continue its live Masters coverage with Round 4 on Sunday. The network will pick up the action beginning at 2 p.m. ET. Prior to that, only Masters.com will provide free morning coverage before network coverage begins.
