Mavericks vs. Suns live score, updates, highlights: MVP candidates Luka Doncic and Devin Booker go head-to-head

By | December 5, 2022

The Mavericks host the Suns on Monday in a battle between two of the NBA’s top MVP candidates to this point in the season. There is no love lost between Luka Doncic and Devin Booker, adding another layer to what should be an awesome head-to-head matchup between two special talents.

Every matchup between these two teams will be personal for the Suns after the Mavericks routed them by 33 points in Phoenix in Game 7 of last year’s Western Conference Semifinals, knocking off the No. 1 overall seed in the NBA Playoffs.

The Suns got a little bit of revenge on Opening Night this season when Damion Lee’s game-winner completed a 22-point comeback against Dallas, but one regular season win doesn’t make up for last year’s shortcomings.

Will Booker and Phoenix make it two in a row against Doncic and the Mavericks? The Sporting News has you covered with live updates, highlights and more from the action.
