Michael Conlan vs Jordan Gill undercard: Complete list of fights before main event in 2023 boxing match

Michael Conlan awaits another homecoming fight when he headlines a clash in the SSE Arena against Jordan Gill on December 2. 

Conlan (18-2) is 2-2 in his last four fights, the lone losses being title fights against Leigh Wood and Luis Alberto Lopez. A popular figure, Conlan has fallen short a few times but always picks himself back up. He’s not finished with his pursuit of gold. 

“I believed I’d be world champion, and I still believe I’ll be world champion,” Conlan told Boxing Social via Boxing Scene. “It’s just a matter of time. Everything kind of happens for a reason, and these type of setbacks happen for a reason. Wait till the end of my career and judge me then.”

Gill (27-2-1) has won eight fights via knockout and is a former Commonwealth featherweight champion. He’s 1-1-1 in his last four contests, with his most recent being a TKO loss against Kiko Martinez.

Agyarko (13-0) turned pro in 2018. “Black Thunder” last fought in May, beating Grant Dennis via unanimous decision. He’s expected to have a lot of support this weekend, with his family hailing from Belfast. 

A 2014 and 2015 English National Championships medalist, Williamson (20-1-1) turned pro in 2016. He beat Dario Socci in 2019 for the IBF European super welterweight title. Williamson beat Ted Cheeseman in 2021 for the British super welterweight belt but lost it in 2022 against Josh Kelly. “Trojan” rebounded in July by beating Ramiro Blanco via points. 


Sean McComb vs. Sam Maxwell

A 2015 European Games bronze medalist, McComb (17-1) turned pro in 2018. “The Public Nuisance” lost against Gavin Gwynne in 2021 for the Commonwealth lightweight title. He has won six in a row since, beating Zsolt Osadan in 2022 for the WBO European super lightweight title. His last fight was a unanimous decision win against Alejandro Moya in August. 

A four-time gold medalist and 2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medalist, Maxwell (17-2) turned pro in 2016. He beat Sabri Sediri in 2019 for the WBO European super lightweight title and Akeem Ennis Brown in 2021 for the British super lightweight belt. Maxwell is 1-2 in his last three, losing his last fight in July against Dalton Smith for the Commonwealth and British super lightweight titles. 


Gerard Hughes vs. Ruadhan Farrell
