The Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday debuted new purple alternate helmets.
The new helmet are a change-up from the Ravens’ typical black helmet with purple stripes.
With an almost matte purple, with gold stripes and a gold face mask, the new helmets also feature a different logo, with a red-eyed raven facing forward, rather than to the side.

Here’s a look at how the new helmets compare to their others.
The Ravens’ purple alternate helmet marks the third one in team history.
Their first helmet – the flying B logo – was used from 1996 to 1998.
The second one – the profile bird head – has been used since 1999. pic.twitter.com/xI9AHfnaZH

It looks like an expansion team helmet in Madden but I love it at the same time??

As a Bengals fan, even I can’t hate this. They look good.

It’s unclear when or how often the Ravens plan to wear their new helmets, but with five primetime games this season, they’ll have plenty of opportunities to show off the alternates to the world.
