Betting on the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year often involves targeting the top first-year quarterback, but Arizona WR Marvin Harrison Jr. has stolen the spotlight early this season.
Rookie quarterbacks Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Bo Nix have struggled out of the gate. They have combined for 196 pass attempts and no touchdowns between them.
Harrison enjoyed his coming-out party in Week 2 against the Rams, with 130 receiving yards and two TDs including this 60-yarder.

Odds to win 2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams opened as the clear betting favorite for OROY, but he’s dropped on the odds board after two sub-par performances.

Jayden Daniels
Daniels was efficient in Washington’s field-goal fest of a win over the Giants. He completed 23 of 29 passes for 226 yards. The Commanders had no trouble moving the ball in between the 20-yard lines, but they failed to convert on a single TD.
Austin Seibert accounted for all of Washington’s points with seven field goals. Daniels gets his first taste of MNF experience when Washington travels to Cincinnati on Monday.
Marvin Harrison Jr.
The Cardinals now know what they have in Harrison after Kyler Murray targeted him just three times in the opener against Buffalo. Harrison, who finished with one catch for four yards in his pro debut, was wide open here for a late TD against the Bills. Murray somehow failed to find him.

Murray rectified things in Week 2, targeting Harrison eight times in a 41-10 win over the Rams. Harrison opened the season at +750 to win OROY, but those odds have tightened to +325.
Caleb Williams
Williams entered the season as the betting favorite as low as +130, but he’s looked like a college quarterback trying to find his way through two weeks.
As the NFL’s top draft pick, Williams was seen as the safest bet by many to win OROY. Once he figures out the pro game, Williams has a wealth of weapons to throw to in WRs DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and Rome Odunze.
Previous No. 1 pick Bryce Young serves as a cautionary tale for Williams. Young has ceded Carolina’s starting QB position to Andy Dalton after the Panthers mortgaged their future on him.
Malik Nabers
Nabers had a Harrison-type breakout performance in Week 2 against the Commanders. The former LSU product racked up 127 receiving yards and scored his first NFL touchdown from four yards out.
Nabers has seen his OROY odds shorten from an opener of +1400 to +850. But you have to wonder how the erratic play of Giants QB Daniel Jones will impact his chances to win OROY over the course of the season.
Xavier Worthy
Worthy exploded out of the starting gate with a pair of highlight reel TDs in the season opener against the Ravens. He came down to earth in Week 2 with two catches for 17 yards and no scores against the Bengals.
The problem for Worthy will be target share in an offense that features TE Travis Kelce and top WR Rashee Rice. It will take time for Worthy to become a trusted target for QB Patrick Mahomes.
Bo Nix
Nix has been a poster boy for rough starts. TSN’s Travis Wakeman notes that Nix has thrown more interceptions (four) in two NFL games than he did all of last season at Oregon (three).
Nix has notably struggled with downfield throws and completed under 60% of his overall passes for an average of 192 yards per game. He can take solace in the fact that fellow rookies Daniels and Williams have also yet to throw a TD pass.
