The Denver Nuggets have been without their superstar and the league’s reigning MVP Nikola Jokic for two games now and it could be more.
Jokic has missed the team’s last two games with a right wrist injury. The ultra-durable star has now missed three of the Nuggets’ first 17 games — the only other game he didn’t suit up for so far was due to a suspension, following his altercation with the Miami Heat’s Markieff Morris.
Through 14 games, he’s averaging career-highs of 26.4 points and 13.6 rebounds while also dishing out 6.4 assists on career-high shooting efficiencies of 59.3 percent from the field and 41.0 percent from beyond the arc.
