Novak Djokovic vs Hubert Hurkacz live updates, score, result from Wimbledon 2023 round of 16

By | July 9, 2023

Novak Djokovic’s relentless march towards what sometimes feels like an inevitable eighth Wimbledon triumph will continue on Saturday evening in London.

Djokovic is looking to make it three out of three in Grand Slams this year and extend his all-time men’s singles record in the big ones to 24, matching Margaret Court’s iconic number of successes.

If he wins at SW19 this year, he will equal Roger Federer’s record of eight titles, a mark that once looked set to remain unmatched for some time.

Standing in Djokovic’s way in this round-of-16 clash is Hubert Hurkacz. The 17th seed is a handful on grass and is yet to drop a set in the tournament. The big-serving Pole also holds the distinction of being the last player to beat the great Roger Federer at Wimbledon.
