Oklahoma vs. UConn live score, updates, highlights from 2025 March Madness Round 1 game

By | March 21, 2025

UConn has dominated the college basketball world each of the past two seasons, winning back-to-back national titles.

Though it may be a much harder road for the Huskies to “three-peat” this season, they believe they have what it takes to make it back and play for yet another crown.

UConn starts its journey toward three straight championships as the Huskies take on Oklahoma in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament’s West Region in Raleigh, N.C. The Huskies are seeded No. 8 while the Sooners are the No. 9 seed.

Oklahoma, despite a 6-12 record in its first season in the SEC and getting the No. 14 seed in the conference tournament, still got an at-large spot. The Sooners did close the pre-tournament season strong with consecutive wins against Missouri, Texas and Georgia before losing to Kentucky on a buzzer-beater.

The Sporting News will track live updates and highlights of the Oklahoma-UConn NCAA tourney game. Follow along for live scores and updates.
