Packers vs. Eagles live score, updates, highlights from NFL ‘Sunday Night Football’ game

By | November 27, 2022

It’s do-or-die time for the Packers. Green Bay’s hopes of a miracle run to the playoffs would be all but crushed with a loss Sunday night to the Eagles, who hold the NFL’s best record at 9-1.

The Packers suffered an uninspiring home loss to the Titans last week, proving that their win over the Cowboys days earlier wasn’t a sign of a major turnaround. It will take a monumental effort for Green Bay to go on the road and beat a Super Bowl hopeful.

The Eagles haven’t looked unstoppable in recent weeks. They followed up a stunning loss to the Commanders two weeks ago with a narrow win at Indianapolis. And after the Vikings’ win over the Patriots on Thanksgiving, Philadelphia still has to have a sense of urgency to hold onto the conference’s top seed.

This game might come down to Aaron Rodgers. The Packers will likely need to score more points than they typically do if they want to keep up with the Eagles in a tough environment.

While his supporting cast is far from ideal, the fate of the offense rests on whether Rodgers can play better than he has for most of this season. If he can’t elevate the offense, the Eagles will be well on their way to win No. 10 — and the Packers to loss No. 8.
