Panthers vs. Oilers live score: Updated Game 6 results, highlights from 2024 Stanley Cup Final

By | June 21, 2024

The Oilers are halfway to history in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final and could take another step forward Friday on home ice.

Edmonton trailed 3-0 in the championship series before erupting for an eight-goal onslaught in Game 4 to pick up their first win. Connor McDavid had a four-point performance in the blowout victory, then followed it up with another four-point masterclass in Game 5.

McDavid has helped keep the Oilers’ season alive while simultaneously chasing Wayne Gretzky’s single-season playoff points record. If he can continue his surge, that could be the key to Edmonton’s success in Game 6.

The Panthers need to win just one more game to raise the franchise’s first Stanley Cup. But all momentum has shifted toward the Oilers.
