The divisional rivalry between the Rams and the 49ers was placed on pause at the 2024 Pro Bowl Games on Sunday.
However, the truce didn’t happen on the field. No 49ers were in attendance, as they are preparing to play in Super Bowl 58 next week.
Instead, Rams wideout Puka Nacua made nice with a 49ers fan who wanted his autograph after the NFC defeated the AFC 64-59 in the Pro Bowl Games.

The fan reached down to Nacua holding a Deebo Samuel, and the Rams receiver prepared to sign it. However, he stopped briefly and appeared to be pondering whether he should go through with the signing.
Eventually, he decided to do it while voicing his reasoning aloud.
“That’s tough, but it’s all right,” he said. “You’re in the Super Bowl, so I’ll give it to you.”

That was a more-than-decent gesture from Nacua, and one of many that he made after the Pro Bowl. Many on hand for the game noted that Nacua stayed well after the event ended to autograph any and everything that his fans wanted signed.
That included an iPhone, which Nacua signed while cracking a joke.
“I would love a new iPhone,” he said.
Was Nacua threatening to take the fan’s phone, or was he angling for an Apple sponsorship? It seems more likely he was doing the latter, considering how close he was to Laura Rutledge’s microphone when he said it.

Either way, Nacua was one of the biggest winners of the Pro Bowl. Not only did he win the NFL’s best catch competition, but he also won over even more fans after his breakout rookie season. Nacua stated during the post-game interview that he was the type of kid who would wait around for an autograph, so he didn’t want to disappoint any of his young fans.
Nacua can now head into the offseason feeling great about everything he accomplished as he officially puts a bow on his first NFL season.
