Miles Sanders knows where the end zone is.
That wasn’t something you could say in 2021. The Penn State alum was expected to excel after averaging over 5 yards a pop in 2020.
But the scores wouldn’t come. Sanders proved incredibly effective outside the end zone. He just couldn’t get in. The third-year running back failed to score a touchdown, drawing the ire of fantasy owners everywhere.
The 2022 campaign was a much better one for Sanders. Not only did he break the 1,000-yard plateau for the first time in his career, he also found pay dirt 11 times. And he made every trip to the promised land worth it, with a series of dances to remind fans of just what he brings both on — and off — the field.

Sanders loves to bust a move. But which choreography proved most enticing? The Sporting News presents its ranking.
Ranking Miles Sanders’ best touchdown dances in 2022
From LeSean McCoy, with love
Sanders isn’t the first running back to have success in the City of Brotherly Love. One of his predecessors, LeSean McCoy, made it cool to carry the rock in Philly. McCoy scored 44 touchdowns in Eagles green. Most of those were accompanied by his signature dance: stretching his hands to the heavens while bouncing up and down, almost as if he were in a house party.
Well, Sanders clearly took great inspiration from Shady. He offered a tribute to the two-time All-Pro after scoring earlier in the season.

Sanders salutes GloRilla
Crunk ain’t dead. Memphis rapper GloRilla is making sure of it, climbing the charts with an infectious flow and style all her own. The 23-year old rose to prominence with banger “F.N.F.” in 2022, earning a Grammy nomination in the process. The song spread like wildfire on TikTok, in large part due to the hypnotic two-step that fans paired the track with. Suffice to say, Sanders took notice. He strutted his stuff after finding the end zone vs. the Cowboys.

Sanders x Lil Uzi Vert
Standing on the shoulders of Broad Streets emcees of yesteryear, Lil Uzi Vert has cemented his place in the rich tapestry that is pop culture. One of his numerous highlights in 2022 was dropping “Just Wanna Rock,” an 808-filled anthem that captivates the soul. That track brought with it another impressive bit of choreography, one that Sanders tapped into off after finding pay dirt in the NFC championship game. Special mention to Eagles center Jason Kelce, who showed he’s got more left in the tank with his own lightning-quick moves.

Love Don’t Cost a Thing
Sanders is clearly an admirer of classic Hollywood. And no discussion of the Golden Age of Tinseltown can be complete without mention of the iconic 2003 film “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.” The picture, a remake of the 1987 film “Can’t Buy Me Love,” stars Nick Cannon and Christina Milian in a classic tale of high school nerd pursuing cheerleader.
One of the centerpieces of the flick is when Alvin (Cannon) takes Olivia (Reagan Gomez-Preston) to a beach party. Alvin puts on his best Soul Train impression, gyrating his hips back and forth in an effort to woo Olivia. Let’s just say that scene left its mark on Sanders, who showcased similar moves after scoring vs. the Texans. Pass the Corvoisier!
