Riley Moss 40 time: How fast was Iowa CB at 2023 NFL Combine?

By | April 28, 2023

Riley Moss is not likely to be the first cornerback taken off the board in the 2023 NFL Draft. Indeed, fans of the Iowa defensive back may have to wait till Saturday to hear his name called.

The Hawkeyes prospect isn’t drawing the same type of attention as other defensive backs in his class, such as Oregon’s Christian Gonzalez, Illinois’ Devon Witherspoon or Alabama’s Brian Branch. But Moss still stands to be a solid pickup for whichever team takes him: He has good size, speed and explosiveness, and could be listed among the top draft-day steals by the time the draft concludes.

While Ross doesn’t have eye-popping stats from his five years at Iowa, one thing that has drawn the attention of scouts, coaches and draftniks alike is an impressive time in the 40-yard dash at the 2023 NFL Combine, one that doubtless will get brought up whenever his name is called.
