South Korea are closing in on reaching the knockout stages of the 2023 Asian Cup as they prepare to take on Malaysia in the final group game match.

Last time out, Son Heung-min’s side drew 2-2 with Jordan and currently sit second in Group E on four points. Malaysia are already knocked out of the tournament and therefore the South Koreans come into this one as major favourites.

While Jurgen Klinsmann’s men have not been as impressive as many expected in Qatar, they’re fully expected to go on and reach the knockouts.

The Sporting News is following the match live and providing live score updates and commentary.
