The fourth and final team to advance to the conference finals will be decided tonight. 

The Stars and Kraken meet Monday night in Game 7 of their second-round series. It is the only series in the round to require all seven games, and the fourth game 7 of the 2023 playoffs. 

After the Stars went up 3-2 in the series on Thursday night with a win in Game 5, the Kraken delivered a sensational effort on Saturday night, earning a victory in Game 6 to keep their season alive and force the winner-take-all contest.

It’s been an extremely even, back-and-forth series. Joe Pavelski has been stellar for Dallas, posting eight goals and nine points in the six games against Seattle. Meanwhile, Yanni Gourde has at least a point in every game but one in this series for the Kraken. 

The winner of this game wins the series and sets up a meeting with the Golden Knights in the Western Conference Final. It would be the Kraken’s first-ever conference finals appearance, while a win for the Stars would set up a rematch of the 2020 Western Conference Final.
