Steelers vs. Colts live score, updates, highlights from NFL ‘Monday Night Football’ game

By | November 28, 2022

Does the Jeff Saturday experiment have a chance of lasting beyond 2022? Monday night’s game might offer some answers.

So far, the results have been positive. The Colts (4-6-1) took down the Raiders in Saturday’s first game on the sideline and narrowly lost to the NFC-leading Eagles the following week, though the coaching staff was criticized for mismanagement down the stretch in that game.

The Colts still have a pulse, and a strong showing against the Steelers’ defense would go a long way toward building credibility for Saturday.

The Steelers (3-7) appear destined for their first losing season under Mike Tomlin, but they’ve been more respectable since T.J. Watt returned from injury. Pittsburgh earned a win over the Saints in Week 10 before hanging with the Bengals into the fourth quarter last weekend.

Watt and the Steelers’ defense have an opportunity to build momentum against a shaky Colts offense and pick up their first road win since Week 1.

Kenny Pickett also has an opportunity to prove himself in his second prime-time start. The rookie quarterback is coming off back-to-back turnover-free performances and would quiet critics with a strong showing on the road.
