SNF anytime touchdown scorer props & odds
The two-touchdown spread lets you know all you need to know about how many believe this game will go. The Giants have only scored five touchdowns all year, and four of them were against the Cardinals. They have only one since then in the following three games they have played. Against the Bills’ defense, there could be more of the same on the menu for the Giants.
That leaves most of Sunday night’s action in the hands of the Bills’ offensive weapons.
Before we get into our picks to consider, here’s the latest Sunday Night Football anytime touchdown scorer odds:
Stefon Diggs anytime TD odds
After a rocky start to the season Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen are beginning to figure it out. Diggs has now scored four touchdowns in his last two games. That’s one less than what the Giants have produced all season. He registered three against Miami in Week 4, and one against Jacksonville last week.
Despite their record, the Giants have done well protecting the end zone through the air, but they did allow two touchdowns a piece to the best QBs they have faced so far in Brock Purdy and Tua Tagovailoa. Allen has thrown at least one touchdown in every game so far, and Diggs is by far his favorite target.
Also, the Giants are a bottom six team in time of possession. Even if they hold up early against Diggs and company, fatigue will eventually set in and open up the field for the Bills, who are likely to get a lot of snaps in this one.
Josh Allen anytime TD odds
Allen has scored a rushing TD in three consecutive games – all of which have come in the red zone. He is tied for third in the NFL for QB rushing attempts inside the 20 with eight on the season. Buffalo’s passing attack is one of the best in the league and draws defensive looks dedicated to stopping the big play. They are fourth in the league in big play passes with 12 over 25 yards on the young season.
The attention Allen’s wideouts and tight ends attract leave ample running room for him between the numbers in short yardage situations. The vast majority of his rushing attempts are off script, which makes it challenging to prepare for in live time. That’s the biggest reason we like his odds to find the end zone yet again in this one.
Gabe Davis anytime TD odds
If Diggs doesn’t get you, Gabe Davis will. His role in the offense has been growing over the last two seasons, and the impact is evident. Davis has scored in every game so far with the exception of the opener against the Jets.
Even with limited targets, he makes the most of his outings. Since the opener, he has had two games in which he was only targeted three and four times. The four-target game was against the Commanders, and his lone catch was for a touchdown. His three-target outing was against the Dolphins, and he caught all three for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Allen is seeking him out under pressure, and Davis is delivering. Despite an abysmal season, the Giants’ defense is performing well. In the Bills last game, Allen was the highest rusher with just 14 yards. Their rushing game is ailing, which could mean more passing attempts. That would provide a significant boost to Davis’ odds. Look for the newly minted team captain to cross the pylon yet again in this expected lopsided contest.
