Tiger Woods returns to the Riviera Country Club this week to begin his PGA Tour season at the Genesis Invitational.
This course is the site of Woods’ Tour debut back in 1992, when a 16-year-old Woods missed the cut by six strokes playing on a sponsor exemption as an amateur. He’s played 13 times at Riviera but never won.
Woods played in just two events in 2023, so a good start this season would be huge for his return to the height of golf. He hasn’t played in more than three tournaments since 2020.
The veteran looks ready to rumble, though, with the first two rounds worth of tee times revealed ahead of the toucnament this week.

Tiger Woods will tee off right in the middle of the field on Thursday for Round 1 alongside Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland. He’ll tee off later in the morning in Round 2, also with Thomas and Woodland

CBS and Golf Channel will split TV broadcast duties over the weekend, with the final round airing on CBS.
Genesis Invitational 2024 TV schedule
The Genesis Invitational can be watched in a variety of ways. Viewers can watch parts of rounds on ESPN+, the Golf Channel and CBS.
The Golf Channel will air later portions of the first and second round and midday portions of the third and fourth rounds. CBS will cary the afternoon portions of the third and fourth rounds.
Viewers can stream early tee times on ESPN+ and watch simulcasts of the Golf Channel on Peacock and CBS on Paramount+. Streamers can also watch all Golf Channel and CBS broadcasts on Fubo, which offers a free trial.
