The Tennessee Titans are playing out the string after being eliminated from playoff contention long ago. They’ll be back on the field on Sunday in Week 16, but are in danger of not having their best playmaker, running back Tony Pollard.
Pollard was listed on the injury report this week with an ankle issue. After he didn’t practice at all during the week, the Titans running back drew a questionable tag for Sunday’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
We’ve seen Pollard play without practicing this season, so his lack of participation is less concerning than it would be for most others. But, with many fantasy football managers depending on him in their playoffs, we still need to make sure he’s going to play.
Thankfully, we have an update as of Saturday night. Here’s the latest on Pollard’s status for Week 16 against the Colts.

END OF UPDATE
According to AtoZ Sports’ Easton Freeze, Pollard is expected to suit up in Week 16, which is great news. That said, make sure to check the inactives at 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday just in case he suffers a setback between now and then.
Pollard has been sensational for the Titans this season and one of the few bright spots on the offensive side of the ball. Entering Sunday, Pollard needs just 18 rushing yards to eclipse 1,000 for the third-straight season.
Fantasy Football start or sit Week 16: Tony Pollard
Pollard ranks as RB18 overall through 14 games, which makes him a borderline RB2 play on a weekly basis.
But he has the potential for even bigger production in a juicy matchup against the Colts, a team ceding the eighth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Indy also sports the third-worst run defense in the NFL.
Start Pollard with confidence in Week 16.
Verdict: Start Pollard
