Transfer deadline day live: Latest January-February 2025 done deals, completed transfers for Premier League, major clubs

By | February 3, 2025

February 3 is transfer deadline day for Premier League clubs and some other major divisions around Europe.

Although the window for the lucrative Saudi Pro League is already closed, some of the business conducted by those teams could have a knock-on effect to today’s activity.

Manchester United and Arsenal are two sides who might be busy between now and the deadline, while Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel could find himself a Premier League player before the end of the day.

And, as always, there is prospect of some surprising late deals…

The Sporting News is following Deadline Day live and providing real-time updates below.

Transfer deadline day live updates, done deals

All times GMT

09:10 a.m.: DONE DEAL: Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed the sale of youngster Benicio Baker-Boaitey to Championship club Millwall.

9:02 a.m.: Lloyd Kelly has completed his medical with Juventus ahead of a loan move that includes an obligation to buy for £20m ($24.6m).

9:00 a.m.: What’s going on with Mathys Tel? Well, it was widely reported on Sunday that talks with Man United had broken down because Bayern Munich wanted a sale instead of a loan. That means Arsenal could now be in a good position to sign him, although they are said to be considering a handful of targets.

8:58 a.m.: Nizaar Kinsella of the BBC reports that Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis wants to leave and has interest from Toulouse and Werder Bremen. He cost £20m ($24.6m) in 2022.

8:50 a.m.: Chelsea are expected to be pretty active, not least in terms of outgoings. Carney Chukwuemeka is set to sign for Borussia Dortmund on loan, while Ben Chilwell has been tipped to join Crystal Palace. There is also a chance that Joao Felix could go to AC Milan, and Axel Disasi has been lined up by Aston Villa and Tottenham.

8:28 a.m.: Aston Villa have had a busy few days. Having confirmed the loan signing of Marcus Rashford on Sunday, they have now announced that Kosta Nedeljkovic has joined RB Leipzig until the end of the season.

8 a.m.: Welcome to deadline day! Major leagues including the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 see their transfer windows close today. Saudi Arabian clubs have already finalised their business, so we’ll see no further mega-money moves to the Pro League for now — but there could still be a knock-on effect from the likes of Jhon Duran’s deal…
