I think we can officially say Taylor Swift fans approve of Travis Kelce.
In a social media background check, Swifties uncovered a plethora of old tweets by the Chiefs player. Most of them were posted while he still played football at Cincinnati, but the young Kelce’s thoughts were much more…advanced than that of a 22-year-old.
It’s not uncommon for a celebrity’s old social media accounts to be examined during a peak in their fame. In the words of ESPN’s Mina Kimes, Kelce is passing the exhaustive test with flying colors.
From his old tweets, fan learned a few things. Kelce loves Chipotle, he isn’t afraid to use hashtags and he needed a few extra spelling lessons during school.
I just gave a squirle a peice of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy

To celebrate the approval of Kelce, show host Jimmy Fallon followed Swift’s footsteps and wrote a song dedicated to the tight end. Rapper Black Thought, also known as Tariq Trotter, joined The Tonight Show to perform “The Ballad of Travis Kelce” inspired but all his old Twitter thoughts.
In a call-and-response tune, the two go back and forth, Fallon answering with Kelce’s tweets. Trotter could hardly keep it together as the two joked about Kelce’s need for spell checks.
“Sometimes they were typos cause he did it on the fly,” Trotter said.
“Went out n grabbed some oldschool jordans now im off to the bowling ally,” read Kelce’s tweet.
A thread of the old entertaining, and misspelled, Twitter posts can be found Taco Bell or Olive Garden anymore, Swift’s followers still approve of the guy on the Chiefs.
The resurfacing of tweets began after Swift abruptly changed her “Karma” lyrics to honor Kelce.
