Week 15 Fantasy Football Projections, Rankings from Draft Sharks

Week 15 fantasy QB projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Jared Goff, Lions vs. Broncos (SN Ranking: 9 | DS Ranking: 15)

Goff struggled last week, but that was a cold-weather game on the road. Goff has traditionally been much better indoors at home in his career, and that’s true again this season. In eight games indoors, Goff has a 16:6 TD-to-INT ratio and 104.1 QB rating. In five games outdoors, he has a 5:4 TD-to-INT ratio and 82.0 QB rating. We expect a big bounceback from Goff on Saturday night, but Draft Sharks is looking more at the recent trends, including Denver’s improved defense.

Week 15 fantasy RB projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs @ Patriots (SN PPR Ranking: 40 | DS Ranking: 30)

CEH got the bulk of the touches last week with Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) out, but he failed to impress, gaining 68 total yards on 15 touches. Jerick McKinnon wasn’t much better (37 yards on seven touches), but he managed to find the end zone just like he did 10 times last year. We expect Edwards-Helaire to struggle against New England’s third-ranked run defense, with McKinnon playing more as the “receiving back.” Draft Sharks is trusting the touches.

Spotlight Player: Chuba Hubbard, Panthers vs. Falcons (SN PPR Ranking: 36 | DS Ranking: 27)

Once again, Draft Sharks is trusting the touches, which is never a bad move. Hubbard has racked up 48 carries over the past two games, but we don’t expect him to produce much against an underrated Falcons’ run defense that’s allowed just five rushing TDs all year. Hubbard can work as a flex in 12-team leagues, but with a full slate on tap, there are plenty of other backs on better offenses or in better matchups to consider.

SN’s WEEK 15 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Week 15 fantasy WR projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Calvin Ridley, Jaguars vs. Ravens (SN PPR Ranking: 37 | DS Ranking: 28)

Ridley has seen more targets with Christian Kirk (core) out, but Zay Jones actually saw more last week (14 to 13) and Evan Engram (12) wasn’t far behind. Ridley remains a volatile receiver, and we see him more as a low-end WR3/high-end flex than a high-end WR3 like Draft Sharks does. He’s still fighting for targets with two other pass-catchers, and Baltimore’s fourth-ranked pass defense will make life tough on all of them.

Spotlight Player: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seahawks vs. Eagles (SN PPR Ranking: 49 | DS Ranking: 34)

The matchup is ideal, but Geno Smith’s groin injury coupled with JSN’s low ceiling has him in flex territory for us. Draft Sharks likes his steady targets (18 over the past two games) and matchup more, which makes sense, but there’s just too much uncertainty for us.

Week 15 fantasy TE projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Cole Kmet, Bears @ Browns (SN PPR Ranking: 22 | DS Ranking: 13)

Kmet has seen at least seven targets in each of the past two games (and five of the past six), so once again Draft Sharks is trusting the opportunities. We’re looking more at Kmet’s middling production and a tough matchup against a Cleveland defense that was lights out against TEs before getting roasted by Evan Engram last week. We think they’ll rebound and mostly shut down Kmet.

Week 15 fantasy defense projections, rankings

Spotlight Player: Baltimore Ravens @ Jaguars (SN Ranking: 15 | DS Ranking: 6)

Baltimore usually has a decent floor, but it struggled at home in the rain against the Rams last week, posting just two sacks with no takeaways. Now, it travels to Jacksonville to face a banged-up Jags offense. Jacksonville struggled against Cleveland last week, but we think they’ll be better at home, limiting Baltimore’s scoring opportunities. The Ravens aren’t a bad starting unit, but we’re just not as high on them as Draft Sharks, who seem to be trusting Baltimore’s pedigree and Trevor Lawrence’s ankle injury more.
