The Victor Wembanyama hype is real.
Ahead of his highly anticipated Spurs debut at the Las Vegas Summer League, fans have flocked to get a first look at the No. 1 overall pick.
Wembanyama and the Spurs will tip off their Summer League campaign on Friday night in a marquee matchup against No. 2 pick Brandon Miller and the Hornets, and tickets for the game are already sold out.
With single-day adult tickets for both the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion starting at $45, the secondary market has seen ticket prices explode.

Most expensive Summer League tickets
Gametime’s most expensive single ticket still available for Summer League comes in at $569. That ticket would place a fan near the sideline at the Thomas & Mack Center (Section 107, Row DD).
Cheapest Summer League tickets
Gametime’s cheapest single ticket still available for Wembanyama vs. Miller is $141 for a general admission seat in the upper bowl.
Tickets for LeBron James’ first Summer League game
Wembanyama has been touted as the best prospect since James, but judging by the ticket prices, he may have eclipsed James’ hype.
Back in 2003, when James was about to step foot on the NBA hardwood for the first time at Summer League, tickets were selling for as cheap as $5, per ESPN.
That would probably get you a bottle of water at the concession stand in 2023.
Tickets for Spurs games in 2022-23
The Spurs were one of the worst teams in the league in 2022-23, finishing with a 22-60 record — a big reason why they were in the Wembanyama sweepstakes to begin with.
They ranked 25th in attendance last season, with an average crowd of 16,937. According to SeatGeek, the average price of a Spurs ticket was $61.
Tickets for 2023 NBA Finals
While Summer League tickets might seem pricey, they’ve got nothing on NBA Finals tickets.
The average price of a ticket to see the Heat host the Nuggets at the Kaseya Center in Miami was $9,420, while the average price of a ticket at Ball Arena in Denver came in at $6,886.
