Get set for a college baseball showdown in the Sunshine State, with No. 8 Florida hosting Miami in a three-game set.

The Gators (9-0) have rolled through the early portion of their schedule, escaping their first close call on Wednesday with a 7-6 victory over North Florida. Standout second baseman Cade Kurland had himself a three-hit game in the walk-off win.

Meanwhile, the Hurricanes (8-1) have won five games in a row, thanks in large part to a white-hot offense that has scored over 10 runs in three of the past four games. Third baseman Daniel Cuvet, a preseason first-team All-American, is coming off a multi-hit game in Wednesday’s win over Florida Gulf Coast.

The in-state rivalry series dates back to 1950, with Miami holding a slim 131-129-1 advantage in the all-time series. But the Gators have boasted the upper hand of late, winning six of the last eight head-to-head meetings.

The Sporting News has you covered for Florida vs. Miami, including TV and live stream information to watch the entire college baseball series.
